This month, we’re happy to introduce our newest color of the month, Sherwin Williams Raisin! It’s darker undertones fit perfectly for those colder days, while the purple gray tones have remind us of the warmer days to come.
This color is perfect as an exterior color because of its ability to be both a neutral, as well as a bold color. It also works well with existing colors, so if you wanted to keep the color of your current trim, you could easily do that with Raisin. It pairs well with a variety of colors, including white, black, browns, and natural wood tones, making it a very versatile color.
Raisin has a great calming quality – this makes it ideal for social settings like the kitchen or living well, in addition to more serene areas of the house like the bedroom. Lots of pillows and comfy blankets complement Raisin in the bedroom the most, and bring out its cool undertones, and comforting quality.
Keep that comforting quality in the bathroom as well. This modern chic color is going to be the ideal backdrop for your sure way to relax at the end of a tough day. It’s easy on the eyes, so its not going to put an extra strain on you. It’s got a classic streak, so it will look great with classic features like wainscoting, stained glass, and simple tiles, as seen below.
