We’ve been busy at Hömm Certified Painting Systems turning houses into homes, and just because all of nature is in hibernation during these cold months, our job never stops. Each job that comes our way is treated with the utmost care and professional concern. Our work is our brand, and we want every completed job to reflect that mantra.
This week we’re profiling a now beautiful home in Kensington, MD thanks to all the hard work of our Hömm painting team.
About the project: Residential re-paint. The customer had recently purchased the house and had hired Hömm for the interior painting of all areas with the exception of a few rooms. The floors had been recently refinished by another contractor therefore Hömm took extra care of these as per the customer’s request. The customer had requested for the job to be completed in a specific time frame and Hömm fulfilled such request.

With just a touch of light blue on the surrounding walls, the white trim and ceiling are really able to pop. Set against the freshly redone wood floors and banister, natural light is able to reflect from all angles of the hallway. The key to bringing out unique architectural features, even the smallest, is in the paint quality, color combo, and care that went into the refinishing.
We love the natural light patterns that come in through the feature skylight. This home really highlights the idea that any and every room can have a special feature!
This light filled dining area is a tranquil meeting space, perfect for a casual Sunday brunch with friends, or for a more formal dinner during the holidays. The dark wood all around again is a lovely complement and a nod to more traditional aspects of the home, like the craftsman style woodwork, and the updated but still charming chandelier.
The work for the project was extensive – over 16 rooms and areas of the house were prepped, and painted! In addition, drywall repairs and removal of an old closet in master bedroom, all completed within a tight 3 day deadline.
The finished product is a beautiful space that the homeowners can be proud of and enjoy for years to come.
Another happy customer, and lovely interior home painting job in the Washington DC area!
