Once your space has been painted, the finishing touches of a room need to be made. We decided to take Sherwin William’s advice, and find great examples of using mirrors to enhance room color. Take a look at some of the stylish ways designers use this tip to pull a room together.
Set between two bold chairs, in both design and color, this mirror helps to balance its dark backdrop by reflecting natural light, the light paint color on the opposite wall, and the black coloring from a painting creating cohesion between seperate spaces.
The same technique is used above to connect the dark blue in the wooden table, with the painted blue trim on the windows. (We love color in unexpected places like trim!)
A well placed mirror can transfer bold color in subtle, but meaningful ways.
