LOOK NO FURTHER! Homm is the best — hands-down.
If you can’t stand guesswork, sloppiness, or unprofessionalism, then you’ll share my enthusiasm for Homm painters. Andres Matheu is the quintessential business professional, whether you choose to work with him by phone or email, and he also offers great advice about color choices (NOT my thing!) He provides a detailed estimate, speedy replies to questions, and excellent estimated scheduling and timing.
But the professionalism doesn’t stop there: Homm’s painters are total perfectionists. The lines where the colored walls meet the ceiling are straight as an arrow, and there’s never a drop of paint where it shouldn’t be (and we have wall-to-wall carpet to worry about!) They put drop-cloths everywhere they walk, vacuum up every last tidbit before leaving, and go out of their way to be pleasant to everyone, including our poor old cat. 🙂
I no longer call around for estimates. Homm might not be the cheapest act in town, but they ARE the best. (And do you really want to find out what happens when you get the cheapest instead?)
