We’ve come to the end of our Pantone Fall 2013 color line up, and what better way to end our profile than with the classic, crisp dark gray (and very versatile color), Turbulence.
This color has the ability to take a bland room and turn it into a modern, desirous space.
The look and feel of this dark gray pairs so nicely with traditional elements, like the wainscoting seen below in the bathroom. Adding modern elements like gray paint to traditional features is a great way to achieve design balance in your home.

We love dark gray paired with pale wood cabinetry; the combination creates such a cozy, modern kitchen! For something a little more glam, keep the gray tones running throughout a space and pair with high shine metal accessories.
Use gray as an exterior color with a bold, bright door to achieve the epitome of an updated, contemporary home! For a more classic look, use a more traditional color on the door like red.
We especially love seeing a monochromatic palette when the color is going up on traditional architecture like Victorian or Craftsman style home.
